For inquiry this term our big question is How Has Life Changed Over Time?" We are doing this for inquiry because our school is having it's 75th jubilee over Otago Anniversary Weekend. Yesterday we had Gary visit us from the Balclutha Museum to talk to us about how life has changed around Clutha Valley and the world over time. He had a cool slide show that showed us photos of differences between then and now, here and around the world. Gary also showed us some old tools that were used for ironing, tailing and making jam. It was very interesting to listen to him, he sure knows his stuff!
Thanks heaps Gary for coming and sharing your knowledge with us.
Congratulations to all the children from Clutha Valley Primary School who swum at the South Otago Swimming Championships on Tuesday night. All the children gave their very best in their events and represented our school with pride. Watch this space for results...!
